Terms & Conditions of Hire
Customers must check with their venue that external food supply items are allowed at their event.
Nana’s Kitchen hire items are not to be removed from the agreed venue under any circumstances. Any missing items will be payable by the customer in full. Customers are fully responsible for items left in their care. All items must be kept dry and free of rain and an indoor space must be available to move items inside and undercover if needed. Any loss or damage of items, however caused, will be payable by the customer. Please note the fudge cart is heavy when assembled and will require at least two people to lift it.
Payment
A 50% deposit is payable at the time of placing the order. The customer agrees to pay the outstanding balance no later than 14 days before the day of hire. If payment is not made, the contract will be deemed cancelled and the hire items will not be delivered. The deposit will be lost.
In the event of cancellation by the customer for any reason 100% of monies paid will be lost. In the very unlikely event that the booking is cancelled by Nana’s Kitchen any payment received will be fully refunded.
Delivery & Collection
Delivery and pick up of Nana’s Kitchen items within 10 miles of Milton Keynes MK3 will incur a £25
delivery/ collection charge. Areas outside of this radius will incur a charge for petrol and additional travelling time and prices are available on request. Collection after 10.00pm will incur a £50 surcharge. Latest collection time is 11.00pm.
Safety
Please note that some fudge may contain nuts or may have been made alongside other products containing nuts. Nana’s Kitchen cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies. A list of all fudge ingredients can be found on our website.
Nana’s Kitchen cannot be held responsible for ingredients used in sweets or donuts prepared by third parties.
Customers should ensure that children are suitably supervised to avoid sweets/donuts being chosen which may pose a choking risk. This is most important for children aged less than 5years old. Nana’s Kitchen cannot be held responsible for issues which occur from the improper use of equipment, consumables or the consumption of confectionery left at the venue. Please do not let children climb onto or around the fudge cart or donut wall.
Insurance & Food Hygiene
Nana’s Kitchen has Public Liability Insurance cover up to the value of £10,000,000. A copy of our insurance certificate can be made available on request.
Nana’s Kitchen has a Five Star Food Hygiene rating, granted by Milton Keynes Council.
